DE GOHL CLASSIC is a wonderfully creamy, large 30 kg hard cheese, similar in shape, consistency and taste to the classic Gruyère. This typical Swiss cheese is traditionally made from fresh raw milk according to an old family recipe and is matured in the cheese cellar for at least 5 months. A typical Swiss raw milk semi-hard cheese of the highest quality that appeals to a wide audience, made only from grass and hay milk, salt and rennet, without any additives. The cheese is naturally lactose-free and a rich source of calcium. A full day in the salt bath followed by intensive care gives De Gohl its typical reddish-brown cheese smear. The months of regular smearing (keeping it moist) give this cheese a wonderful taste that develops from mild and slightly acidic to tangy, aromatic and fruity.
